Detroit wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown might be out for a few weeks after exiting the Lions' game against the visiting Green Bay Packers on Thursday due to an ankle injury.
St. Brown was hurt in the first quarter when an offensive lineman rolled up on him as he was making a block. He was initially deemed questionable to return before the Lions ruled him out for the rest of the game less than five minutes into the third quarter.
'I'll know more tomorrow,' Detroit coach Dan Campbell said postgame regarding St. Brown's status. 'I don't feel like this is long, long term, so that's the good news. But that doesn't mean it won't be here for ... It could be a week or two, maybe, if we're lucky.'
St. Brown, 26, entered the Thanksgiving game with 75 receptions for 884 yards and nine touchdowns. He had one target and no catches in Detroit's 31-24 loss.
The two-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowler has 505 catches for 5,735 yards and 42 TDs in 78 games (70 starts) since Detroit drafted him in the fourth round in 2021.
The Lions have another Thursday game next week, against the visiting Dallas Cowboys, before visiting the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 14.
