Gia Cooke led all five starters in double figures with 24 points as No. 21 West Virginia opened the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship with an 83-63 victory over McNeese on Monday in Nassau, Bahamas.
Sydney Shaw followed with 14 points, Kierra Wheeler posted 12 points and 10 rebounds and Jordan Thomas and Jordan Harrison scored 10 points apiece for the Mountaineers (6-0), who will face Ohio State in the title game of the Goombay Division on Wednesday.
Those five starters shot a stellar 23 of 37 from the floor as West Virginia outshot McNeese 56.3% to 42.6%. Harrison added seven assists.
Arianna Patton had 17 points with five 3-pointers to guide the Cowgirls (3-2) while Jalencia Pierre scored 12, Dakota Howard had 11 and Lexi Alexander chipped in 10.
No. 13 Ole Miss 102, Longwood 50
Cotie McMahon scored 29 points and added nine rebounds as the Rebels overwhelmed the Lancers in Oxford, Miss.
McMahon hit 11 of 18 field goal attempts in just 25 minutes. teammate Christeen Iwuala added 14 points, while Debreasha Powe contributed 13.
Ole Miss (5-0) started the game on an 18-1 run, but Longwood (4-3) closed within 24-16 after 10 minutes. The Rebels outscored the Lancers 25-9 in the second quarter to take command. Amor Harris was the lone Longwood player in double figures with 11 points.
No. 19 Notre Dame 83, Central Michigan 51
Hannah Hidalgo continued her brilliant start to the campaign, scoring 25 points and adding seven assists and six steals as the Fighting Irish routed the Chippewas in South Bend, Ind.
Hidalgo, who entered play leading the nation in scoring at 27.4 points per game, converted 12 of 19 shots from the floor. KK Bransford added 12 points as Notre Dame (5-1) hit 37 of 69 field-goal attempts (53.6%).
Central Michigan (4-2) stayed within striking distance, trailing 40-29 at halftime. However, the Irish opened the third quarter on a 10-2 run and built the lead throughout the second half. Madi Morson scored 15 points for the Chippewas, who committed 28 turnovers.
No. 24 Oklahoma State 98, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 45
Haleigh Timmer scored a season-high 25 points, leading five Cowgirls in double figures as they routed the Islanders in Stillwater, Okla.
Oklahoma State (6-1) led 40-18 at halftime and outscored Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 30-7 in the third quarter. Timmer hit 9 of 16 shots and 5 of 9 attempts from behind the arc. Reserve Lena Girardi, who has scored in double figures in six of seven games, added 17 points in 19 minutes.
Samora Watson led the Islanders (1-4) with 11 points, but she committed eight of the team's 34 turnovers.
