Hemanth architected and implemented Order Entity Platform which is a crucial entity in Pharmacy as a Platforms (PaaP) to replicate and replace the existing world's largest automated pharmacy system. Functionality included loading existing data, syncing data in real time, feeding data to data lakes to apply Machine Learning and AI, and parallel data loading and data syncing in real time. The older legacy system faced the dual challenge of modernizing the systems while also meeting interoperability requirements. ESI met both goals using a Hybrid Cloud Approach (HCA) to extract data from legacy systems and make it more accessible for modern applications.This approach gave the option to keep data moving while working on updating the systems. HCA platforms helped increase cloud adoption, and by mid-2021, 83% of Java applications were in the cloud. Express Scripts Pharmacy dispenses more than 100 million adjusted prescriptions each year and all these 100 million prescriptions will be fed to the Order Entity platform. Internal and external systems will interact with the Order Platform to get Order related information which includes order status, delivery and pricing information and other details. Developing the order platform reduced the latency by 57% to all the existing members. Petco, a leading pet specialty retailer, had entered a strategic alliance with Express Scripts that enabled millions of pet parents to order and receive pet medicines from the comfort and convenience of home. Added new capabilities to the PaaP system to intake orders from Petco systems and dispense medications through the ESI pharmacy for pet prescriptions, transforming the pet medicine industry and making access to critical pet medicines convenient and affordable for more pet parents than ever before. Petco customers spent more than $3.9 billion annually on prescription medications for their animals and petco systems are accessing the ESI Order Platform to get order details.

Hemanth is one of the major engineers who worked on fabricating Net Zero Marketplace(NZM), powered by Salesfoce. NZM is a climate action hub for everyone and a trusted site for organizations to purchase carbon credits. Net Zero Marketplace connects buyers with trusted carbon credit providers. Any organization visiting the marketplace can come to the site and - without paying or signing up - can learn about carbon projects and, unlike many marketplaces out there today, can transparently see pricing and third-party ratings. Worked in significant epics to mention a few checkout phase of the purchase, order history and played an active role in reaching the milestones. Hemanth wore multiple hats in this project to the quality test the other engineer worked on and involved in designing the backend API's, given inputs to adjust some screens in the user experience interaction sessions with engineering and product leadership.
