Tommy Pham drove in three runs and Triston Casas homered among his three hits as the Boston Red Sox snapped a six-game losing streak by beating the visiting Baltimore Orioles 13-9 on Tuesday night.
All of Boston's scoring came in the second, third and fourth innings. The Red Sox (73-81) made the most of 11 total hits.
Anthony Santander homered twice for the Orioles (80-74), who've lost three of their last four games as their bid to reach the American League playoffs dimmed.
The Orioles loaded the bases with one out in the ninth, but didn't score when Austin Hays grounded into a game-ending double play.
The Red Sox compiled just two extra-base hits. Baltimore had eight extra-base hits (four homers, three triples, one double) in the first four innings.
Matt Strahm (4-4) was the winning pitcher in relief. Joey Krehbiel (5-5) took the loss.
Casas, who finished 3-for-4, clobbered a two-run homer in the second inning.
Boston scored six runs in the third inning without an extra-base hit after Alex Verdugo's leadoff double.
Down 8-3, Baltimore struck back when Ramon Urias led off the fourth with a homer, and two batters later, Hays posted an RBI triple. After Cedric Mullins' single, it was 8-6 before Santander's two-run blast tied it.
Boston matched that with a five-run bottom of the inning without an extra-base hit. The Red Sox led 13-8 through four innings.
Santander has homered six times in his last four games thanks to three two-homer outings.
Adley Rutschman and Santander hit back-to-back home runs as the Orioles took a 3-2 lead in the third inning. Urias went 3-for-3 for Baltimore, which scored first on Ryan Mountcastle's RBI triple in the first inning.
Orioles starter Kyle Bradish, who threw 8 2/3 shutout innings Thursday night against the Houston Astros, exited after 2 1/3 innings and was charged with seven runs on four hits and four walks.
Boston starter Michael Wacha's bid for his 12th victory this year went by the wayside as he was pulled in the fourth. His final line included 3 1/3 innings while allowing six runs on eight hits.
