FlyQuest, in a tight race for a spot in the League Championship Series Summer Split playoff, are changing their lineup ahead of the final week of regular-season action.
Jungler Brandon Joel "Josedeodo" Villegas of Argentina and mid-laner Cristian "Palafox" Palafox of the United States will be back in action, replacing jungler Hoangan "Nxi" Dinh of the United States and mid-laner Stephen "Triple" Li of Australia.
The moves restore Josedeodo and Palafox to the top-level squad after they were part of FlyQuest full roster swap earlier this month, when the club's Academy players were moved up to the first team while the LCS regulars were demoted to the Academy squad.
At the time of the lineup changes, FlyQuest were 9-24 in the LCS, the top-level competition for North American League of Legends teams. Since the moves, the squad went 4-5, leaving FlyQyest with a 13-29 record.
They currently sit in the eighth and final playoff position with three games to go this week, just ahead of Golden Guardians (12-30) and Counter Logic Gaming (11-31).
According to DotEsports.com, Josedeodo and Palafox had a 10-2 record with the Academy team to earn their recall to the LCS lineup.
FlyQuest will oppose Golden Guardians on Friday, seventh-place Immortals (20-22) on Saturday and Counter Logic Gaming on Sunday.
The eight-team LCS Championship is scheduled for Aug. 7-29.
